Art. 17a Amount of short-time work compensation for persons on low incomes 108

In derog­a­tion from the UIA109, short-time work com­pens­a­tion is cal­cu­lated as fol­lows:

a.
where the monthly in­come of a per­son work­ing full-time:
1.
does not ex­ceed 3470 francs, short-time work com­pens­a­tion amounts to 100 per cent of the al­low­able loss of earn­ings,
2.
is between 3470 and 4340 francs, short-time work com­pens­a­tion amounts to 3470 francs in the case of a com­plete loss of earn­ings; com­pens­a­tion for par­tial losses of earn­ings is cal­cu­lated on a pro rata basisl,
3.
ex­ceeds 4340 francs, Art­icle 34 para­graph 1 UIA ap­plies un­changed;
b.
in the case of part-time work, the in­come and the min­im­um amount for the short-time work com­pens­a­tion in ac­cord­ance with let­ter a is cal­cu­lated in pro­por­tion to the full-time equi­val­ent.
