(Contaminated Sites Ordinance, CSO)

Art. 16 Remediation measures 16

1 The ob­ject­ive of re­medi­ation must be achieved by meas­ures that:

a.
en­able en­vir­on­ment­ally haz­ard­ous sub­stances to be elim­in­ated (de­con­tam­in­a­tion); or
b.
en­able the dif­fu­sion of en­vir­on­ment­ally haz­ard­ous sub­stances to be pre­ven­ted in the long term and mon­itored (se­cur­ing).
