¹ SEM may re­quire the can­tons to col­lect the data re­quired for fin­an­cial su­per­vi­sion, de­term­in­ing and ad­just­ing the fin­an­cial com­pens­at­ory pay­ments from the Con­fed­er­a­tion un­der Art­icles 88 and 91 para­graph 2^bis of this Act and 55 and 87 of the FNIA²⁴³ and to make it avail­able to SEM or re­cord it in SEM's Cent­ral Mi­gra­tion In­form­a­tion Sys­tem (ZEMIS).

² If a can­ton fails to com­ply with this re­quire­ment, SEM may re­duce the fin­an­cial com­pens­at­ory pay­ments made to this can­ton or de­term­ine the pay­ments due on the basis of the data avail­able.
