¹ SEM may au­thor­ise third parties who are re­spons­ible for pro­cur­ing bio­met­ric data, en­sur­ing se­cur­ity or for ad­min­is­tra­tion and care in fed­er­al centres and air­port ac­com­mod­a­tion to pro­cess per­son­al data in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 99a para­graph 3 let­ters a, c and d in MIDES.

² SEM shall en­sure that au­thor­ised third parties com­ply with the ap­plic­able reg­u­la­tions on data pro­tec­tion and in­form­a­tion tech­no­logy se­cur­ity.
