Art. 59
1 The Public Procurement Commission for the Confederation and the Cantons (KBBK) is responsible for monitoring Switzerland's international obligations in the area of public procurement. It comprises equal numbers of representatives of the Confederation and the cantons. SECO is responsible for providing the secretariat. 2 The Public Procurement Commission performs the following tasks in particular:
3 If there are indications that Switzerland's international obligations concerning public procurement are being violated, the KBBK may intervene with the federal or cantonal authorities and cause them to clarify the circumstances and take the necessary measures if irregularities are found. 4 The KBBK may prepare expert reports or mandate experts to do so. 5 The KBBK drafts its own regulations, which require the approval of the Federal Council and the Intercantonal Public Procurement Body. |
