Art. 4
 

Where a minor for­eign child is ad­op­ted by a Swiss cit­izen, the child ac­quires the can­ton­al and com­mun­al cit­izen­ship of the ad­opt­ive par­ent and thus ac­quires Swiss cit­izen­ship.
