Art. 45 Transitional provisions

1 Sur­veil­lance that is in pro­gress at the time that this Act comes in­to force shall con­tin­ue in ac­cord­ance with the new law.

2 Ap­peals against the Ser­vice’s de­cisions shall be dealt with in ac­cord­ance with the law ap­plic­able in the pro­ceed­ings at the first in­stance.

3 The ob­lig­a­tion laid down in Art­icle 21 para­graph 2 ap­plies to in­form­a­tion about pre­paid SIM cards and sim­il­ar means that must still be avail­able un­der the pre­vi­ous law at the time that this Act comes in­to force.

4 The com­pens­a­tion and fees for sur­veil­lance pur­su­ant to this Act are gov­erned by the law that was in force at the time sur­veil­lance was ordered.
