Art. 73 Transitional provisions

1 The ap­plic­able can­ton­al and fed­er­al edu­ca­tion or­din­ances must be amended or re­placed with­in five years of com­mence­ment of this Act.

2 Titles that are pro­tec­ted un­der cur­rent le­gis­la­tion shall re­main pro­tec­ted.

3 The im­ple­ment­a­tion of lump-sum fund­ing men­tioned in Art­icle 53 para­graph 2 shall be phased in over a peri­od of four years.

4 The Con­fed­er­a­tion shall gradu­ally in­crease its sub­sidy over a peri­od of four years un­til this sub­sidy reaches the level es­tab­lished in Art­icle 59 para­graph 2.
