(Vocational and Professional Education and Training Act, VPETA)

¹ The EBBK shall carry out the fol­low­ing tasks:

a.

the pro­vi­sion of ad­vice to the Con­fed­er­a­tion on gen­er­al mat­ters re­lat­ing to the VPET sys­tem as well as on mat­ters re­lat­ing to de­vel­op­ment, co­ordin­a­tion and har­mon­isa­tion with gen­er­al edu­ca­tion sec­tor policies;

b.

the as­sess­ment of VPET de­vel­op­ment pro­jects re­ferred to in Art­icle 54, re­quests for fund­ing of spe­cif­ic activ­it­ies that serve the pub­lic in­terest re­ferred to in Art­icle 55, sub­sidies for pro­fes­sion­al edu­ca­tion re­ferred to in Art­icle 56 as well as activ­it­ies re­lat­ing to re­search, stud­ies, pi­lot pro­jects and ser­vices re­lat­ing to the VET, pro­fes­sion­al edu­ca­tion and job-re­lated CET sec­tors re­ferred to in Art­icle 48 para­graph 2 let­ter b.

² The EBBK may also sub­mit its own pro­pos­als and provide grant fund­ing agen­cies with re­com­mend­a­tions on pro­jects un­der as­sess­ment.
