on Vocational and Professional Education and Training
(Vocational and Professional Education and Training Ordinance, VPETO)

(Art. 73 para. 3 and 4 VPETA)

¹ Start­ing from the fifth year fol­low­ing com­mence­ment of VPETA, the Con­fed­er­a­tion’s share of fund­ing of the can­ton­al tasks men­tioned in Art­icle 53 para­graph 2 VPETA shall be provided in the form of a lump-sum pay­ment.

² For the first four years fol­low­ing com­mence­ment of VPETA, the fol­low­ing rule shall ap­ply:

a.

the can­ton­al tasks men­tioned in Art­icle 53 para­graph 2 VPETA, for which the Con­fed­er­a­tion has thus far provided sub­sidies by vir­tue of the fol­low­ing fed­er­al acts, shall con­tin­ue to be fun­ded by vir­tue of these acts:

1.

Fed­er­al Act of 19 April 1978⁶¹ on Vo­ca­tion­al Edu­ca­tion and Train­ing,

2.

Fed­er­al Act of 29 April 1998⁶² on Ag­ri­cul­ture,

3.

Fed­er­al Act of 4 Oc­to­ber 1991⁶³ on Forests,

4.

Fed­er­al Act of 19 June 1992⁶⁴ on Fin­an­cial Aid to Pro­fes­sion­al Edu­ca­tion In­sti­tu­tions Spe­cial­ised in So­cial Care;

b.

the re­main­ing can­ton­al tasks men­tioned in Art­icle 53 para­graph 2 VPETA shall re­ceive Con­fed­er­a­tion fund­ing to the ex­tent of avail­able re­sources men­tioned in Art­icle 53 para­graph 1 VPETA.
