Art. 35 Final examinations for upper-secondary level vocational qualifications

(Art. 17 VPETA)

1 Can­ton­al au­thor­it­ies shall ap­point ex­am­iners to or­gan­ise fi­nal ex­am­in­a­tions upon com­ple­tion of VET pro­grammes. The cor­res­pond­ing pro­fes­sion­al or­gan­isa­tions shall have the right to pro­pose ex­am­iners.

2 Dur­ing the qual­i­fic­a­tion pro­ced­ure, ex­am­iners shall write down the res­ults, their ob­ser­va­tions and any ob­jec­tions raised by the can­did­ates.

3 Can­did­ates with dis­ab­il­it­ies shall be giv­en the spe­cial aids or ad­di­tion­al time that they may reas­on­ably re­quire.

4 In fields taught in two lan­guages, all or part of the ex­am­in­a­tion may be giv­en in the second lan­guage.

5 The bod­ies re­spons­ible for or­gan­ising the ex­am­in­a­tion shall de­cide wheth­er the can­did­ate may be is­sued the cor­res­pond­ing up­per-sec­ond­ary level vo­ca­tion­al qual­i­fic­a­tion.
