Art. 16 Programmes for the integration of persons with disabilities

1 The Con­fed­er­a­tion may con­duct pro­grammes to pro­mote the in­teg­ra­tion of per­sons with dis­ab­il­it­ies in­to so­ci­ety.

2 The pro­grammes may re­late to the fol­low­ing mat­ters in par­tic­u­lar:

a.
edu­ca­tion;
b.
em­ploy­ment;
c.
hous­ing;
d.
per­son­al trans­port;
e.
cul­ture;
f.
sport.

3 The Con­fed­er­a­tion may par­ti­cip­ate in such pro­grammes where they are offered by na­tion­al or­gan­isa­tions or or­gan­isa­tions in spe­cif­ic lan­guage re­gions, in par­tic­u­lar by provid­ing fin­an­cial as­sist­ance.
