Art. 22 Deadlines for public transport adaptations

1 Ex­ist­ing pub­lic trans­port build­ings, struc­tures and vehicles must be ad­ap­ted for use by per­sons with dis­ab­il­it­ies with­in 20 years of the com­mence­ment of this Act.

2 Com­mu­nic­a­tions sys­tems and tick­et is­su­ing sys­tems must be ad­ap­ted for use by per­sons with dis­ab­il­it­ies with­in ten years of the com­mence­ment of this Act.

3 Pri­or to the ad­apt­a­tion dead­lines un­der para­graphs 1 and 2, pub­lic trans­port com­pan­ies have the right to have their op­er­a­tions and in­vest­ment plans based on the fed­er­al im­ple­ment­a­tion concept for the grant­ing of fin­an­cial as­sist­ance (Art. 23 para. 3) con­sidered.
