Art. 1 Purpose

This Act lim­its the ac­quis­i­tion of im­mov­able prop­erty by for­eign non-res­id­ents, in or­der to pre­vent the ex­cess­ive own­er­ship of Swiss ter­rit­ory by for­eign na­tion­als.
