Art. 117 Health and accident insurance

1The Con­fed­er­a­tion shall le­gis­late on health and ac­ci­dent in­sur­ance.

2It may de­clare health and the ac­ci­dent in­sur­ance to be com­puls­ory, either in gen­er­al terms or for in­di­vidu­al sec­tions of the pop­u­la­tion.
