Art. 47 Security communication 162

1 The Fed­er­al Coun­cil shall de­term­ine the tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions ser­vices that tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions ser­vice pro­viders must provide in or­der that the armed forces, civil de­fence, Bor­der Guard, po­lice, fire bri­gade, the res­cue ser­vices and the ci­vil­ian au­thor­it­ies can ful­fil their du­ties in all cir­cum­stances.

2 It may re­quire pro­viders with a view to and in spe­cial and ex­cep­tion­al situ­ations to make premises and in­stall­a­tions avail­able and to tol­er­ate ex­er­cises.

3 It shall reg­u­late the com­pens­a­tion for these ser­vices, hav­ing due re­gard to the in­terests of the pro­vider.

4 It may re­quire the ne­ces­sary per­son­nel to serve if a spe­cial situ­ation so re­quires.

5 The pro­vi­sions on re­quis­i­tion and the Gen­er­al’s powers un­der Armed Forces Act of 3 Feb­ru­ary 1995163 are re­served.
