¹ Cus­tom­ers of tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions ser­vices shall have the op­tion of hav­ing their de­tails re­cor­ded in the pub­lic dir­ect­or­ies. They may with­in the lim­its set un­der para­graph 2 de­cide which dir­ect­ory data per­tain­ing to them may be pub­lished.

² The Fed­er­al Coun­cil may spe­cify which data a dir­ect­ory entry must in­clude as a min­im­um. It may reg­u­late the de­tails of pub­lic­a­tion and the use of the data.
