Art. 66 Reclaiming payments
1 Federal payments made in error shall be reclaimed. This also applies if an installation or piece of equipment is used for a purpose other than that intended. 2The Confederation’s right to bring claims prescribes three years after the date on which it learned of its claim and in any event ten years after the date on which the right first arose.77 3 If the recipient has committed a criminal offence through his or her conduct, the right to a refund prescribes at the earliest when the right to prosecute the offence prescribes.
