Art. 26 Structure of studies at universities of applied sciences

1 Through a blend of prac­tic­al stud­ies and ap­plied re­search and de­vel­op­ment, uni­versit­ies of ap­plied sci­ences pre­pare stu­dents to carry out activ­it­ies as­so­ci­ated with spe­cif­ic pro­fes­sions that re­quire the use of re­search find­ings and meth­ods as well as, de­pend­ing on the field of study, cre­at­ive and artist­ic tal­ents.

2 On com­ple­tion of the first level of stud­ies, stu­dents nor­mally ob­tain a qual­i­fic­a­tion that en­ables them to work in a giv­en pro­fes­sion.
