Art. 29 Right to use reserved designations

1 With in­sti­tu­tion­al ac­cred­it­a­tion, high­er edu­ca­tion in­sti­tu­tions and oth­er in­sti­tu­tions with­in the high­er edu­ca­tion sec­tor have the right to use the re­served des­ig­na­tion «uni­versity», «uni­versity of ap­plied sci­ences» or «uni­versity of teach­er edu­ca­tion» or de­rived des­ig­na­tions such as «tier-one col­lege» or «UAS col­lege».

2 The right to use re­served des­ig­na­tions also ap­plies to equi­val­ent terms in lan­guages that are not na­tion­al lan­guages of Switzer­land.
