IV. Establishing foreign law 1 The content of the foreign law shall be established by the authorities on their own motion. For this purpose, the cooperation of the parties may be requested. In matters involving an economic interest, the task of establishing foreign law may be assigned to the parties. 2 Swiss law applies if the content of the foreign law cannot be established. |
