Art. 13 Conditions governing the granting of a general licence
1 A general licence may be granted if the following conditions are met:
2 The general licence shall be granted to a company limited by shares, co-operative or public law entity. If the applicant is a foreign company, it must have a branch registered in the commercial register in Switzerland. The Federal Council may refuse to grant a general licence to a company formed in accordance with the laws of a foreign country if the country in which the company concerned is domiciled does not grant reciprocal rights, insofar as the decision of the Federal Council does not conflict with any existing international commitments. |
