Art. 34 Temporary inapplicability of other statutory provisions

1 The Fed­er­al Coun­cil may, dur­ing the peri­od in which the eco­nom­ic in­ter­ven­tion meas­ures ap­ply, de­clare oth­er stat­utory pro­vi­sions to be in­ap­plic­able. Such pro­vi­sions are lis­ted in An­nex 1.

2 Pro­vi­sions may only be de­clared in­ap­plic­able in­so­far as they con­tra­dict the meas­ures pur­su­ant to this Act.

3 The de­clar­a­tion of in­ap­plic­ab­il­ity may not have any ir­re­vers­ible im­pact or one ex­tend­ing bey­ond the peri­od dur­ing which the meas­ures are in place.

4 In the case of im­min­ent or ex­ist­ing severe short­ages, the Fed­er­al Coun­cil may in­tro­duce fur­ther pro­vi­sions to An­nex 1.
