¹ An ad­di­tion­al pay­ment shall be made to pro­du­cers for com­mer­cial milk that is used in cheese-mak­ing.⁷⁶

^1bis The Fed­er­al Coun­cil may spe­cify that the ad­di­tion­al pay­ment shall be made via the milk pro­cessors. If this is the case, the Con­fed­er­a­tion shall make the pay­ment in full dis­charge of its ob­lig­a­tions.⁷⁷

² The ad­di­tion­al pay­ment amounts to 15 cents, un­der de­duc­tion of the amount of the ad­di­tion­al pay­ment for com­mer­cial milk in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 40. The Fed­er­al Coun­cil shall spe­cify the re­quire­ments for the ad­di­tion­al pay­ment. It may ex­clude low-fat cheeses from the ad­di­tion­al pay­ment.⁷⁸

³ It may ad­just this amount de­pend­ing on trends in quant­it­ies.⁷⁹
