Art. 23h

1 A nature dis­cov­ery park is an area close to a densely pop­u­lated area that of­fers un­spoiled hab­it­ats to the in­di­gen­ous flora and fauna and al­lows the gen­er­al pub­lic to ex­per­i­ence nature.

2 With­in this frame­work, it shall also serve to pro­mote en­vir­on­ment­al edu­ca­tion.

3 It com­prises:

a.
a core zone where nature is al­lowed to de­vel­op freely and to which the gen­er­al pub­lic has only lim­ited ac­cess;
b.
a trans­ition zone where nature can be ex­per­i­enced and which acts as a buf­fer against harm­ful in­tru­sions in­to the core zone.
