Art. 23c
1 The overall protection objective shall be to preserve the natural and cultural features of the mire landscapes that account for their outstanding beauty and national importance. The Federal Council shall specify protection objectives appropriate to the particular features of the mire landscapes. 2 The cantons are responsible for formulating specific protection objectives and for their implementation. They shall take the appropriate protection and upkeep measures in good time.
