1. Limitation periods 1The claims against the acceptor under the bill of exchange become time-barred three years after the maturity date. 2The claims of the holder against the endorser and against the drawer become time-barred one year after the date on which timely protest was made or, where the bill bears the comment "No protest", one year after the maturity date. 3The claims of one endorser against other endorsers and against the drawer become time-barred six months after the date on which the bill of exchange was honoured by the endorser or the claim based on the bill was asserted against him. |
