Art. 317

C. Goods in lieu of money

¹ Where the borrower receives securities or goods rather than the agreed sum of money, the amount of the fixed-term loan is deemed to be the current or market price of the securities or goods concerned at the time and place of delivery.

² Any agreement to the contrary is void.
