(Part Five: The Code of Obligations)

¹ A man­date is a con­tract whereby the man­datee un­der­takes to con­duct cer­tain busi­ness or provide cer­tain ser­vices in ac­cord­ance with the terms of the con­tract.

² Con­tracts for the pro­vi­sion of work or ser­vices not covered by any oth­er spe­cif­ic type of con­tract are sub­ject to the pro­vi­sions gov­ern­ing man­dates.

³ Re­mu­ner­a­tion is pay­able where agreed or cus­tom­ary.
