(Part Five: The Code of Obligations)

¹ The co­oper­at­ive shall ac­quire leg­al per­son­al­ity only through entry in the com­mer­cial re­gister.

² Per­sons act­ing in the name of the co­oper­at­ive pri­or to entry in the com­mer­cial re­gister are li­able per­son­ally and jointly and sev­er­ally for their ac­tions.

³ Where such ob­lig­a­tions were entered in­to ex­pressly in the name of the co­oper­at­ive to be foun­ded and are as­sumed by the lat­ter with­in three months of its entry in the com­mer­cial re­gister, the per­sons who con­trac­ted them are re­leased and only the co­oper­at­ive is li­able.
