Art. 19 Area

1 The area of a re­gion­al nat­ur­al park shall amount to at least 100 km2.

2 It shall in­clude the en­tire ter­rit­ory of the com­munes con­cerned. Derog­a­tion from this prin­ciple is per­mit­ted if:
a.
a large area that is de­lim­ited nat­ur­ally is be­ing in­cor­por­ated in­to the area of a re­gion­al nature park;
b.
the rur­al part of an ex­ten­ded ag­glom­er­a­tion com­mune with urb­an res­id­en­tial char­ac­ter con­trib­utes to round­ing off the area of a re­gion­al nature park.
