¹The Ex­am­in­a­tion Com­mit­tee shall de­cide at a meet­ing on wheth­er the ex­am­in­a­tion parts have been passed. A rep­res­ent­at­ive of SERI shall be in­vited to at­tend this meet­ing.

²The Ex­am­in­a­tion Com­mit­tee shall no­ti­fy the can­did­ate, with­in three months, in a writ­ten rul­ing of the res­ult of the ex­am­in­a­tion parts taken by him or her.

³The Swiss Fed­er­al Pat­ent At­tor­ney Ex­am­in­a­tion has been passed when all four ex­am­in­a­tion parts in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 8 are deemed to have been passed. In this case, the Ex­am­in­a­tion Com­mit­tee is­sues con­firm­a­tion in the form of a cer­ti­fic­ate.
