Nat­ur­al sci­ences or en­gin­eer­ing de­grees (Bach­el­or’s, Mas­ter’s, Dip­lom or Lizen­zi­at) ob­tained at high­er edu­ca­tion in­sti­tu­tions as defined in Art­icle 3 of the Uni­versity Fund­ing Act of 8 Oc­to­ber 1999⁵ are re­cog­nised as Swiss high­er edu­ca­tion qual­i­fic­a­tions in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 4 Pa­tAA even if the high­er edu­ca­tion in­sti­tu­tion was not ac­cred­ited at the time the qual­i­fic­a­tion was awar­ded.
