1 The Fed­er­al Coun­cil is the highest ex­ec­ut­ive au­thor­ity of the Con­fed­er­a­tion.

2 It com­prises sev­en mem­bers.

3 It is as­sisted by the Fed­er­al Chan­cel­lor.
