(Art. 51 GAOA)

¹ The an­nu­al ob­ject­ives of the Fed­er­al Coun­cil shall set out the main fea­tures of the gov­ern­ment's activ­it­ies for the com­ing year, spe­cify aims and meas­ures and des­ig­nate the busi­ness to be ap­proved for sub­mis­sion to the Fed­er­al As­sembly.

² The an­nu­al ob­ject­ives form a basis for the Fed­er­al Coun­cil's busi­ness plan­ning in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 2, for con­trolling in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 21, for su­per­vi­sion in ac­cord­ance with Sec­tion 5 and for an­nu­al busi­ness re­port­ing in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 45 of the Par­lia­ment­ary Pro­ced­ure Act of 23 March 1962⁷³ (Par­lPA).
