(Art. 62 paras. 2 and 3 GAOA)

¹ The De­part­ment shall in­form the con­tract­ing can­tons or the co­ordin­a­tion of­fice and the Fed­er­al Chan­cellery of the res­ult of the ex­am­in­a­tion of the agree­ment with­in two months of no­ti­fic­a­tion in the Fed­er­al Gaz­ette in ac­cord­ance with Art­icle 27q.

²If the De­part­ment es­tab­lishes that the agree­ment is con­trary to the law or the in­terests of the Con­fed­er­a­tion, it shall raise this ob­jec­tion with the con­tract­ing can­tons and, if ap­pro­pri­ate, with the co­ordin­a­tion of­fice, and shall in­vite them to sub­mit their com­ments.

³ The De­part­ment shall im­me­di­ately no­ti­fy the con­tract­ing can­tons, the co­ordin­a­tion of­fice and the Fed­er­al Chan­cellery as to wheth­er or not, on the basis of the opin­ion, the con­flict with the law or the in­terests of the Con­fed­er­a­tion re­mains.
