The Fed­er­al Coun­cil and the Pres­id­ent of the Con­fed­er­a­tion are sup­por­ted by the Fed­er­al Chan­cellery in the ex­er­cise of their stat­utory con­trol du­ties. For fur­ther in­ter­de­part­ment­al cla­ri­fic­a­tions, pro­ject or­gan­isa­tions pur­su­ant to Art­icle 56 GAOA or an ex­tern­al con­sult­ant pur­su­ant to Art­icle 57 GAOA may be ap­poin­ted.
