Art. 12 Point of contact

1 The can­tons shall des­ig­nate a point of con­tact, which is re­spons­ible for re­ceiv­ing no­ti­fic­a­tions of ma­jor ac­ci­dents at any time and im­me­di­ately alert­ing the emer­gency ser­vices.

2 The can­tons shall also en­sure that a cent­ral of­fice is des­ig­nated, which im­me­di­ately for­wards no­ti­fic­a­tions of ma­jor ac­ci­dents to the Na­tion­al Emer­gency Op­er­a­tions Centre (NEOC) Emer­gency Desk (ASN).49
