Causing danger by means of nuclear energy, radioactivity or ionising radiation 1 Any person who wilfully causes serious danger to the life or the health of people or to the property of others by means of nuclear energy, radioactive substances or ionising radiation shall be liable to a custodial sentence or a monetary penalty. A custodial sentence must be combined with a monetary penalty. 2 If the offender acts through negligence, he shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding five years or to a monetary penalty.
