Art. 227
Causing a flood, collapse or landslide 1. Any person who wilfully causes a flood, the collapse of a structure or a landslide or rock fall and thus knowingly endangers the life and limb of people or the property of others shall be liable to a custodial sentence of not less than one year. If only minor loss, damage or injury is caused, a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or a monetary penalty may be imposed. 2. If the offence is committed through negligence, a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or a monetary penalty shall be imposed. |
