Art. 223
Causing an explosion 1. Any person who wilfully causes an explosion involving gas, petrol, paraffin or a similar substance and thus knowingly endangers the life and limb or property of others shall be liable to a custodial sentence of not less than one year. If only minor loss, damage or injury is caused, a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or a monetary penalty may be imposed. 2. If the offence is committed through negligence, a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or a monetary penalty shall be imposed. |
