7. Joint com­mis­sion

 

Where any per­son com­mits an of­fence un­der this Title jointly with one or more oth­ers, the court shall in­crease the pen­alty im­posed, but may not ex­ceed the stand­ard max­im­um pen­alty for the of­fence by more than an ad­di­tion­al half. The court, in im­pos­ing the pen­alty, is bound by the stat­utory max­im­um pen­alty for the type of­fence in ques­tion.
