¹ Any per­son who causes a fire through neg­li­gence and thus does dam­age to an­oth­er or causes a danger to the pub­lic shall be li­able to a cus­todi­al sen­tence not ex­ceed­ing one year or to a mon­et­ary pen­alty.³⁰¹

² If the of­fend­er through neg­li­gence en­dangers the life and limb of oth­ers, a cus­todi­al sen­tence not ex­ceed­ing three years or a mon­et­ary pen­alty shall be im­posed.
