Art. 244

Im­port, ac­quis­i­tion and stor­age of coun­ter­feit money

 

1 Any per­son who im­ports, ac­quires or stores coun­ter­feit or fals­i­fied coins, pa­per money or bank notes in or­der to pass these off as genu­ine or non-fals­i­fied shall be li­able to a cus­todi­al sen­tence not ex­ceed­ing three years or to a mon­et­ary pen­alty.327

2 Any per­son who im­ports, ac­quires or stores such money on a large scale shall be li­able to a cus­todi­al sen­tence of from one to five years.
