Art. 319

As­sist­ance by a pub­lic of­fi­cial in the es­cape of pris­on­ers

 

Any pub­lic of­fi­cial who as­sists or al­lows a per­son un­der ar­rest, a con­victed pris­on­er or a per­son com­mit­ted to an in­sti­tu­tion by of­fi­cial or­der to es­cape shall be li­able to a cus­todi­al sen­tence not ex­ceed­ing three years or to a mon­et­ary pen­alty.
