Art. 16Public prosecutor
1 The public prosecutor is responsible for the uniform exercise of the state's right to punish criminal conduct.
2 It conducts preliminary proceedings, pursues offences within the scope of the investigation, and where applicable brings charges and acts as prosecutor.
