1 A person may be brought before an authority by the police if:
a.
he or she has failed to comply with a summons;
b.
there are specific indications that he or she will not comply with a summons;
c.
in proceedings relating to a felony or misdemeanour, his or her immediate appearance is essential in the interests of the procedure;
d.
there is a strong suspicion that he or she has committed a felony or misdemeanour and there is reason to believe that there are grounds for the person's detention.
2 An enforced appearance shall be ordered by the director of proceedings.
