Art. 70Restrictions on and exclusion of public access
1 The court may completely or partly exclude members of the public from court hearings if:
a.
public safety or order or the legitimate interests of a person involved, and in particular the victim, so require;
b.
too many members of the public wish access to the court.
2 If members of the public are excluded, the accused, the victim and private claimants may each be accompanied by a maximum of three confidants.
3 Subject to specific requirements, the court may allow court reporters and additional persons with a legitimate interest access to proceedings that are private in accordance with paragraph 1.
4 If members of the public are excluded, the court shall pass judgement at a public hearing or shall if required inform the public of the outcome of the proceedings in another suitable manner.
