¹ A case file shall be opened for each crim­in­al case. This file shall con­tain:

a.

the re­cords of pro­ceed­ings and ex­am­in­a­tion hear­ings;

b.

the doc­u­ments com­plied by the crim­in­al justice au­thor­ity;

c.

the doc­u­ments sub­mit­ted by the parties.

² The dir­ect­or of pro­ceed­ings shall en­sure the sys­tem­at­ic fil­ing of doc­u­ments and se­quen­tial in­dex­ing; in simple cases, an in­dex is not re­quired.
