Art. 152 General measures to protect victims
1 The criminal justice authorities shall safeguard the personal privacy of the victim at every stage of the proceedings. 2 The victim may be accompanied at all procedural hearings by a confidant in addition to his or her legal agent. 3 The criminal justice authorities shall ensure that the victim does not encounter the accused if the victim so requests. In such a case, they shall take account of the accused's right to be heard in some other way. In particular, they may question the victim while applying protective measures in accordance with Article 149 paragraph 2 letters b and d. 4 A confrontation hearing may be ordered if:
